Dates of Contest: The Contest will be conducted regularly Monday through Friday during the morning.
How To Enter: No purchase is necessary to participate. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following methods:
1. Phone: Call in after the DJ plays the morning’s “CD Scramble”. WBRU is not responsible for telephone outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her phone call.
How to Play: Call in after the DJ plays the morning’s “CD Scramble” - a mixed up song clip from a current or former WBRU artist. The first caller to correctly identify the scrambled song and the artist that plays it will be declared the winner.
2. Participant Eligibility
WBRU does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, age, disability, status as a veteran, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression in the selection of cont est participants.

You must be a legal U.S. resident to be eligible to win.
Staff members, volunteers, or employees of WBRU, a record label or program supplier to WBRU, and employee of any other station in the Providence market or advertiser of WBRU, or a member of the household of any such person are ineligible to win.
If a contest is not legal in any state, residents of that state may not participate.
All participants must sign a waiver certifying to have read these contest rules
One household may win once every 30 days and only one a year for prizes worth $600 or more
3. Prizes
Prize varies from day-to-day. The DJ will inform listeners of the prize that is to be given away. Prize is listed on the giveaway log. In the event of DJ error the prize that will be given to the winner is the one listed on the giveaway log and not the incorrect prize read by the DJ
Winners may be required to claim the prize in person, Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 88 Benevolent Street, Providence, RI 02906. Winners must claim prizes within 15 business days of being notified, or the prize will be forfeited.
Winner Notification: DJ will select a caller an inform them of their status as a winner and collect relevant contact information.
Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more must provide their Social Security number for reporting to the Internal Revenue Service before the prize is delivered.
WBRU may substitute another prize of equal value and is not responsible if a sponsor offering a prize fails to provide it. Winners may not transfer prizes to another person, and may not demand a cash substitute.
WBRU is not responsible for any damages or injuries that may occur, directly or indirectly, with regard to the award, use or delivery of any prize.
4. Winner Selection/Criteria
The DJ will select the first caller who is able to correctly solve the CD scramble
Decisions of WBRU management with respect to the contest are final.
5. Conditions
By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compen sation.
Winners and guests, if applicable, may be required to sign a release form before receiving any prize, agreeing to hold WBRU, officers, directors, volunteers, agents and representatives harmless against any and all clai ms or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
WBRU reserves the right to amend or change contest rules after giving notice on the air. If due to circumstances beyond the control of WBRU, the CD Scramble contest is delayed, rescheduled, postp oned, or cancelled, WBRU reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
Failure to comply with the rules may result in the contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of WBRU.
WBRU is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
